In recent years, in addition to the U.S. GPS, satellite positioning systems (GNSS) independently operated by various countries—such as Russia’s GLONASS, Japan’s Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS), China’s BeiDou, and the EU’s Galileo—have continued to expand. At the same time, the use of multi-band signals, including L5, has been accelerating.

The HiPer XR supports these diverse signals, enabling stable and highly accurate positioning even in challenging reception environments such as urban areas and mountainous regions.

Furthermore, Topcon has enhanced its proprietary TILT™ (Topcon Integrated Leveling Technology) compensation, supporting tilt angles of up to 60 degrees. This allows smooth measurement even in locations where it is difficult to keep the pole vertical, such as near walls—areas that were previously challenging to observe.
