We have detected that a product with the model code “GM-50/100” Series, “iM-50/100” Series is being sold on various E-commerce and auction site.
The counterfeit versions are not designed or manufactured by TOPCON or our related companies of course, and the sites display TOPCON logos, our brand-names and trademarks without any permission from us and does not meet our quality standards.
Consequently, there is a significant risk of causing substantial harm to our customers’ business by using this counterfeit product.
Furthermore, please be advised that Topcon will not accept any responsibility for repairs or damages resulting from the use of counterfeit versions of our products. Therefore, we kindly request caution when making purchases on e-commerce or auction websites.
Topcon has been taking actions to eliminate the counterfeit products from the market in order to make sure that you could use TOPCON products without any worries.

Characteristics Of The Identified Counterfeit Products

▪ The label may start peeling off
GM-50/ 100 Series
▪ In the battery covered have been written “>PC-GF10< DE”, circular marks are convex circle and the date mark is located at the bottom
▪ In the Terminal cover have been written “>POM< DE”, circular marks are convex, and no letters on the circular mark.
iM-50/ 100 Series
▪ In the battery covered have been scratched surface with no engraved text, the circular marks are mix of concave (凸) & convex (凹), and no data marks.
▪ In the terminal covered no engraved text, no black rubber seal around the terminal.
▪ On the Keyboard the SHIFT button and other indicated buttons are black.
GM-100/iM-100 Series
▪ Objective lens is SQUARE in shape
